My parents, John and Marilyn, on their wedding day, May 31, 1948. They were married at Holy Family Church in South Buffalo. Same church that was our family parish and grammar school.
They were married for 56 years until my mother passed away in 2005.

They met at the ice skating rink at Cazanovia Park in South Buffalo. Apparently people used to skate together and so the first words that he said to her were "Would you like a partner"? He always jokes that he just meant to go once around the rink.
